About the Role

Flyaway Geese is a professional wildlife management company specializing in humane goose control using trained Border Collies. We are looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to assist with daily farm operations and help care for and work alongside our dogs.

This is not a typical farm job—you’ll be working with high-level trained dogs and supporting a unique operation that services golf courses, business parks, and large properties.

What You’ll Do

Must be able to drive a tractor

General farm maintenance (fencing, grounds, equipment upkeep)

Landscaping, mowing, weed eating

Put up and take down temp fencing

Check fence lines and weed eat

Assist with dog handling and basic training support

Load/unload feed

Maintain clean, organized work areas

Return tools and equipment to its storage area

Small build projects

What We’re Looking For

Reliable and shows up on time—non-negotiable

Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, and weather

Not afraid of physical work (lifting, walking, handling animals)

Good attitude and able to take direction

Experience with dogs, livestock, landscaping, or construction is a plus—but not required

What This Job Is NOT

Not a sit-around farm job

Not low-effort work

Not for someone who needs constant supervision
