    Role Description – Head of People

    As we approach 40 team members across the globe, we are seeking an experienced Director of People.

    We are a fully remote organization with our primary operations in US (NYC, San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, Atlanta). We are a diverse and multi-cultural organization.

    This is a challenging but exciting multi-faceted role for someone who wants to grow into Head of People and Talent. This role is ideally suited for professionals coming from Recruiting, HR, People Ops, Talent Management or other heavily people-focused backgrounds.

    You will be responsible for leading all aspects related to recruitment and talent development within the organization. You will also play a significant role in ensuring we foster a culture where our team members can thrive.

    Your primary role is to help create an environment where our team members are excited to come to work every day and candidates are thrilled at the opportunity to interview with FarmTogether.

    Key Role Responsibilities

    ***** Act as a steward of our culture. Promote and monitor our values across the organization.

    • Build out our hiring function. Identify hiring channels, build relationships with recruiters, create a list of target candidate pools (LinkedIn groups, slack channels, etc), create an onboarding process.

    • Build out the FarmTogether Best Employer brand.

    • Create and execute our compensation, benefits, rewards, and recognition strategy.

    • Together with the COO build out our internal HR functions: payroll, benefits, expense reimbursement, travel, compliance, administration.

    • Build camaraderie and cohesion among the team. Create online and offline events, celebrate achievements, recognize accomplishments, etc.

    • Assist with performance management, learning and development. Conduct 360s.

    • Together with functional leaders own the retention KPI.

    • Help design and execute our long-term strategy.

    Requirements

    • Very high EQ is a must.

    • You have high empathy and communication skills. You are a positive person, you lead by inspiration not intimidation. You are a good listener.

    • You are a superior conflict resolution specialist, but you never let your own emotions get the best of you.

    • You seek to understand first and collaborate with functional and executive leaders to create solutions and solve problems.

    • 5+ years of experience in a People Ops role. Startup experience highly preferred.

    • You have deep knowledge and prior experience with all or some of the HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, talent development, performance management, organizational design and change management

    • You are driven by a desire to influence and create a culture of high performance, where our team members are able to thrive and grow

    • You have prior experience with building and implementing HR programs and initiatives

    • Experience managing fully remote teams.

    • Experience in fintech, asset management or other financial industries is preferred.
