    Job Description

    Brand Manager is responsible for leading visionary brand storytelling that will drive differentiated awareness, conversion, and TRUST for our Nutrition & Wellness category in North America. This role is responsible for launching new products, increasing our consumer base and brand loyalty. The ideal candidate will have the ability to think and execute creative “out of the box” initiatives.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    ● Own the success and growth of the Nutrition & Wellness portfolio by partnering with key departments in all aspects of the product life cycle.

    ● Develop business plan that focuses on increasing sales, customer base and product loyalty.

    ● Create launch campaigns for product launches.

    ● Work with Product Development located in Turkey to create and maintain a product roadmap.

    ● Collaborate with Product Management to develop the following for new and existing products:

    ○ Naming

    ○ Feature and benefits

    ○ Product positioning

    ○ Claims

    ○ Packaging copy

    ○ Brochures

    ○ Magazines

    ○ Web copy

    ○ Videos

    ● Create product story and key benefits.

    ● Develop annual and seasonal advertising campaigns designed to build brand awareness and attract new customers.

    ● Create training materials, campaigns and programs to lead to long-term customers.

    ● Develop and maintain an understanding of current trends in the Nutrition & Wellness and beauty industry.

    ● Identify and recommend new technologies and/or current trends that could translate into unique product concepts.

    ● Understanding new products and their effect on current offerings, including cannibalizing or driving sales and consumption

    ● Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends.

    ● Prepare a SWOT analysis of competitors.

    ● Analyze portfolio performance on an ongoing basis.

    ● Lead annual brand review, which includes sales analysis, opportunity for grown and competitive insights and category trends.

    ● Provide monthly and quarterly reporting on category performance and plans for the future.

    ● Work to add differentiation and innovation to current and future Nutrition & Wellness products.

    ● Working closely with the company’s Sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations.

    ● Collecting and analyzing feedback, market research, and product ideas from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and products of both current products and newly developed products.

    ● Owning post-launch changes to product lines including new ideation, value-proposition, features, packaging, positioning, work with marketing on messaging, reformulations, etc.

    ● Develop and execute plans to increase consumer wallet share, product consumption, improve profit on existing spend and identify/exploit key categories.

    ● Make recommendations around product promotions, bundles, and campaigns.

    ● On-going portfolio refinement including category positioning and claims, line extensions, discontinuations, etc.

    ● We believe in teamwork so you may be asked to help other departments when needed.

     

     

    QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

    ● Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field

    ● 4-8 years’ experience in the beauty industry

    ● Have an extensive understanding of Nutrition & Wellness products.

    ● Previous MLM/Network Marketing experience a plus

    ● Excellent written and oral communication skills

    ● Ability to give presentations in person or on video.

    ● A proven track record of working collaboratively and being accountable.

    ● Outstanding oral and written communication skills

    ● Exceptional organizational skills and a great attention to detail

    ● Self-starter, ability to thrive in a fast paced, start-up environment.
