This position will assist with drafting and submitting client applications to the Department of Labor as well as auditing client files to ensure they stay compliant with DOL regulations. Responsibilities: • Play an integral part in the H-2A Farm Labor Contractor Process • Provide administrative support to the Senior Legal Coordinator for H-2A Visa program clients • Complete Farm Labor Contractor applications • Communicate and coordinate with clients on requests for documents and other information to submit applications to the Department of Labor • Organize and assemble application documents and maintain file system for applications • Complete case file audits regularly • Communicate with the Department of Labor to follow up on applications regularly • Stay current with Department of Labor news and updates as they relate to Farm Labor Contractors • Update standard operating procedures regularly when changes are made • Calendar timelines/deadlines with reminder notifications • Keep the legal team current with the status of all clients • Keep clients up to date with regular status updates • Prepare and send correspondence to DOL and clients as directed by Senior Legal Coordinator • Conduct legal research, when necessary, with guidance from attorneys and paralegals • Undertake other duties as needed to ensure the firm operates efficiently Qualifications: • Comfortable working with all Microsoft Office products • High school diploma required. Associate's degree or some college preferred • Applicant must be extremely detail-oriented • Time management skills • Ability to work individually and in a team environment • Be able to manage high-volume caseloads and keep documents organized Compensation: $20 - $23 hourly
