Responsibilities: • Compose tailored policy options, quotes, and educational materials to prospective and existing insurance clients • Identify and secure new business through creative sales tactics, including networking and cold calling • Maintain a high standard of customer service excellence when solving billing, policy change, claims, or coverage related issues • Modify insurance coverage, as needed, by regularly assessing their accuracy, coverage, and limits • Ensure up-to-date information within insurance company databases to effectively drive sales and current customers Qualifications: • Deep knowledge of available insurance policies and insurance coverage offerings, including their limits and value propositions • Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft Office programs; experience using agency management systems considered a plus • Prior experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer for personal lines • Goal-oriented sales approach and effective collaboration skills are needed • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent insurance industry experience and a high school diploma are required Compensation: $45,000 - $75,000 at plan earnings
