You’ll learn valuable tools that teach you how to sell, solicit, differentiate and negotiate insurance plans that will build your own book of business. From the very beginning, you will “earn as you learn’’ without previous insurance sales experience. Responsibilities: Build the skills and confidence necessary to achieve self-sufficiency as an insurance agent with your mentor Create new and continued business by uncovering opportunities to upsell and cross-sell financial products Evaluate the individual needs and goals of prospective customers in order to present them with the most suitable insurance policy options Meet established new business production objectives to further the agency’s overall financial goals Compile insurance quotes using accurate customer information, data, and rates for insurance policies • Handle customer inquiries • Sell and solicit/provide information about the products and services • Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns • Document and update customer records based on interactions • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services Qualifications: Must display strong leadership and communication skills At least one year of experience working in sales or the insurance industry desired Excellent at building rapport and relationships with people Successful completion of a background check is required Valid Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health insurance licenses required or must be willing to get licensed • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields • Ability to build rapport with clients • Ability to prioritize and multitask • Positive and professional demeanor • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Must be willing to obtain Insurance License Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 yearly
