    Job Description

The primary responsibility of the position is to drive and grow new business revenue. You'll manage client relationships to ensure that your clients' needs and requirements are met. This will require you to serve as their advocate within Farmers to provide them with a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and options. You will organize and coordinate office administration and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. They are responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control, office staff supervision and task delegation.

Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to help the customer identify specific products and solutions
    • Solicit, sell, and negotiate new business policies
    • Review renewal business and conduct appropriate follow up based on degree of change
    • Cross-sell/up-sell products to existing customers
    • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
    • Conduct annual reviews with customers
    • Perform risk analysis and underwriting
    • Monitor claims activity for profitability purposes
    • Determine new business marketing focus based on research and analysis of competitive areas in local market
    • Manage and train new Agency Producers (APs), including reviewing all new business paperwork submitted by APs
    • Manage daily activities of other team members, including prioritizing items for Customer Service and Sales Representatives
    • Diffuse difficult and complex customer interactions
    • Monitor sales results for business unit and implement corrective action if goals are not met
