Responsibilities: • Resolve billing, policy change, coverage, and insurance claims issues using exemplary customer service skills • Compose tailored policy options, quotes, and educational materials to prospective and existing insurance clients • Modify insurance coverage, as needed, by regularly assessing their accuracy, coverage, and limits • Facilitate sales by keeping accurate records of personal information of prospects and customers within insurance company databases • Employ creative networking and sales strategies to generate leads that convert prospective clients into new clients Qualifications: • Experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer for personal lines • Strong aptitude for computer programs including Microsoft Office required; agency management system experience preferred • State-issued, valid insurance license(s) required: Property and Casualty Insurance License and/or Life and Health Insurance License • Effective collaborator with a goal-oriented approach to achieving sales success • A thorough understanding of all insurance company policies and insurance coverage offerings, including their costs and benefits • Sales experience required Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
