  • Responsibilities

    Our 12-month program allows you to work with a mentor agent as their protégé. This program will allow you to establish the background for becoming an agent while gaining insight and knowledge from your mentor agent. Learn the art of closing the deal. After 12 months you will be ready to step into your own business as an agent with Farmers Insurance with opportunities for monthly bonuses, increased time flexibility, and the reputation of a 90-year company. Responsibilities: • Learn: “How to see enough people and say the right things” • 24/7 training programs are available on-demand through the University of Farmers, Courses are free and you study at your own pace. • Gain sales experience and knowledge with help at every step along the way. • Maintain knowledge of new products and initiatives. Pursues a program for development of personal and business skills. • Develops and reviews existing sales strategies and market segmentation. • Creates and maintains sales portfolios, examples, and processes. • Regularly work with Mentor to develop communication plans with customers, and networking opportunities. • Conducts reviews with the mentor to aid in determining proper advisement. • Learn what to look for throughout the sales process and field quality assessments. • Develop relationships with existing and new clientele. Qualifications: • Computer Skills – basic to intermediate word and excel processing is preferred. • Self-Motivated – Ability to work on your own and achieve goals. • Communication - acceptable verbal communication skills. • Team Work- accepts feedback when offered and works well with others. Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 yearly
