Mapp'd is a woman-owned farmer's market based business with weekly locations around the DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Our signature products are Chinese-inspired breakfast crepes that we prepare fresh at markets. We also sell ready-to-cook homemade meals, featuring recipes and techniques from around the world and cater events, private dinners, and offer cooking classes. We're hiring for Farmer's Market Associate positions to work at our weekly locations at Mount Pleasant and DuPont Circle. Our farmers' market team is the face of our business. You will interact directly with customers at markets, making the first impression for our business. As a Mapp'd market team member, your friendly and positive attitude will ensure guests are eager to try our delicious, globally-inspired foods! From explaining the concept behind our brand, to accurately taking orders, to handing off food, to keeping our stand clean, this position is a fun and exciting opportunity to create a great market experience for you and for our customers. Farmer's Markets Shift Details: -Driving shifts typically run 7 am - 2:30 pm -Market only shifts run 8 am - 1:30 pm -We cook on site! You will learn how to make our popular Chinese breakfast crepes called "jianbing" -You will work with 2 other team members for markets that sell jianbing.
