We provide secure, high-quality language support in more than 80 spoken and signed languages for USCIS and other federal agencies.

    We are seeking Farsi (Iranian Persian) Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Farsi is a priority Middle Eastern language, widely spoken in Iran, and often required in asylum and immigration proceedings.

    Responsibilities

    Provide real-time Farsi (Iranian Persian) ↔ English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.

    Deliver interpretation with accuracy, neutrality, and professionalism in immigration and legal contexts.

    Adhere to USCIS/DHS interpreter ethics and confidentiality standards.

    Manage both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge requests.

    Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and QA audits.

    Qualifications

    Native or near-native fluency in Farsi (Iranian Persian) and English.

    2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, medical, or government strongly preferred).

    Familiarity with interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.

    Excellent telephone communication skills; ability to remain impartial and accurate under pressure.

    Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance.
