Job Summary

We are seeking friendly and service-oriented Store Cashier to join our team! As a Store Cashier , you will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working the register, stocking shelves, processing inventory, and maintaining the store’s appearance - to include the restrooms.

Responsibilities

Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are shopping

Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.

Work at a register to ring up and carry out customer sales.

Collect payments by cash and credit card

Issue receipts

Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance.

Drive sales by participating in targeted product promotions and initiatives as set forth by the company.

Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.

Keep sales floor and restrooms clean

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively

Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service

Ability to work as a team

Ability to quickly and accurately work a register

Willingness to work a flexible schedule

Must be able to work in fast paced environment
