You’ll be responsible for setting the sales strategies and objectives, identifying sales targets, and evaluating the team’s sales performance to help us achieve our sales goals. Responsibilities: • Cultivate long-lasting customer relationships to meet customer needs, and mitigate any complaints to ensure continued business • Mentor your team, evaluate their sales performance, and help them improve • Set our sales strategies and sales objectives to achieve our sales goals • Lead our sales team by setting a sales plan for each sales representative, identifying individual sales targets, assigning sales territories, and overseeing training programs to make sure they’re successful • Present sales reports to the team that accurately represent sales efforts including sales progress and volume to more accurately forecast future goals • As a candidate for the Fast Track Management Program, you’ll join New York Life as a financial professional to gain hands-on experience. Once you have met the program requirements, which typically take between 6-12 months, you’ll be eligible for promotion to Associate Partner • In this management role, you’ll begin recruiting and developing your own team of financial professionals. You’ll also be enrolled in the Associate Partner Training Program, a six-month intensive training designed to help ensure that you succeed when promoted to Partner • You’ll build and lead your own team with the support of a Fortune 100 company. Our development managers and product consultants will support you in reaching your financial professionals with everything they need to know. NYLIC University, one of the most comprehensive and well-respected training programs in the industry, offers a blended learning curriculum designed to meet financial professionals’ needs throughout the various stages of their careers Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in sales management or in a leadership role in the sales department • Proven track record of sales success • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field • Exemplary communication skills, leadership skills, and analytical skills For our 6-12 month Management Fast Track Program, we’re looking for goal-driven leaders who are eager to build and develop their own unit of financial professionals.
