    We are looking for a technician to support production of our capacitor technology.  We are looking for a hands-on technician, who, recognized and supported by management and a stable work environment, can deliver quality work on a consistent basis. We need a patient, detailed oriented team player, who cares for accuracy and is a helpful and supportive communicator.  New skills will be learned through a supportive team environment and coaching.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the production assembly of ultracapacitors and other products including operations with z-fold machines, punches, ultrasonic welders, seam welders, laser welders, electrolyte filling machines, sealant dispensing machines, slitting equipment, winding machines, resistance welding machines, gloveboxes, dry room
    • Welding, slitting, cutting, processing energy storage components
    • Wiring, cabling, crimping, wire stripping, heat shrink wrapping
    • Recording and documenting testing procedures and data
    • Assessing prototypes based on testing results and recommending design changes to engineers
    • Following assembly, testing and quality control procedures
    • Inspect and test finished products for quality, functionality, and adherence to specifications
    • Perform basic maintenance on various machines
    • Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products
    • Follow all regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.

    Job Requirements:

    • Must have experience and/or be comfortable working with:
    • Welding, slitting, cutting, processing energy storage components; potting, encapsulating
    • Heat shrink wrapping
    • Recording and documenting testing procedures and data
    • Assessing prototypes based on testing results and recommending design changes to engineers
    • Writing assembly, testing and quality control procedures
    • Must have excellent dexterity
    • Must be open to learning new work skills, processes, and procedures that may be different from previous work experiences

    We offer a total estimated compensation package of $21.36/HR - $26.10/HR (comprised of a base wage of $16.43/HR - $20.08/HR + up to 30% potential bonus based on meeting divisional and company KPIs which is paid out quarterly.) We offer health, dental, vision, FSA, life insurance, 401k, and three weeks of paid time off plus one week for year-end vacation.
