    The Position:

    Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will help grow the team, drive pipeline creation, assist Account Executives on strategic deals, establish success measures, as well as provide consistent training and skill building.

    We are looking for a results-driven, team-oriented, strategic sales professional with a deep understanding of the SaaS industry.  

    This position reports to our Director of Sales and is located in our Santa Barbara office.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead, coach and mentor a growing team of Account Executives.
    • Provide ongoing support, motivation, and development to strengthen your team's selling techniques enabling them to achieve their goals.
    • Provide detailed analysis and reporting on your team's KPI progress on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
    • Lead by example, joining the team in outbounding efforts, customer calls and product training activities.
    • Promote operational excellence through pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and using data to recognize trends and improve business across all areas. 
    • To meet and exceed quarterly revenue goals, you will work with the Director of Sales to deliver on focused quarterly strategies as outlined at the beginning of each quarter.
    • Work with the leadership team to identify and implement process improvements that promote productivity and drive growth.

     

    Professional Experience and Qualifications:

    • Proven track record of developing high performance sales teams.
    • 3-5 years quota carrying sales experience.  Ideally in ecommerce, payments, and/or software, but not required.
    • At least 1 year of experience overseeing a quota-carrying sales team required.
    • Ability to negotiate and close complex contracts.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience with formal sales methodologies.
    • Drive, motivation and passion and an exceptional work ethic; ability to lead by example.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Self-motivated, able to assume responsibility and work autonomously.
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
