    JOB SUMMARY:  Provides technical support to Maintenance staff and Production. Performs service and preventative maintenance on a variety of automated Electro-mechanical equipment. Responsible for the installation, service and preventative maintenance of all Production related equipment and proper upkeep of tools, supplies and testing equipment. Helps develop strategies and procedures to constantly evolve our preventative maintenance program.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Resolving multiple types of machine issues which involve troubleshooting skills in the following disciplines: PLC's, Electrical/Electronics, Control Circuits, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Mechanical & Software Develop procedures to standardize the Repair/rebuild of mechanical modules. Use appropriate test equipment to isolate problems and make repairs in a timely manner, Assist in determining inventory quantity levels of machine parts and sourcing. Move equipment and components as required, unload machinery that arrives at the facility,  Ability to communicate all information to the departments. Maintain and repair pneumatic automatic, semi-automatic, manual equipment/machinery and sensors. Responsible for maintaining and operating production equipment to optimize availability, quality and speed inclusive of both mechanical and electrical subsystems. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical equipment, conveyors, robots, vision systems and computer controlled devices. Adhere to ISO 9000 specifications and requirements Ensure a safe environment is present during equipment repair and maintenance. Train operations staff on machine operation and operator level PM.  Must posses the ability to: Work with 120-240 (and limited 480 V) electrical repair.  Work with grinders, drill presses and hand tools.  Encompass arm-hand steadiness and manual dexterity.  Grasp, manipulate or assemble very small objects.  Job description may require working overtime and occasional outdoor work . Must have knowledge of basic arithmetic, Safety procedures, lock out/tag out and fall protection.  Work Environment: This is a manufacturing position so the environment could be loud, dusty and could at time be working outside. At times may be hot as well as cold depending on the weather. Must wear the necessary PPE needed to perform in the warehouse  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:   Certified Electrician. High School graduate, GED, Technical school graduate or equivalent training.  Minimum of 4 to 5 years of Electro-mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment.  Proficient in use of power tools/measuring devices.  Basic background in general machine shop practices and experience with 120 V-220 V (limited 480 V) power.  Read blueprints and schematics to determine methods and sequences of assembly. Train others on safety procedures and to install, use and maintain machinery.
