We're looking for passionate individuals seeking to get into the Manufacturing Industry. Our position will be for a 1st shift CNC Operator Material Handler. We are seeking those who are committed, hardworking and enthusiastic. Summary Operates CNC machinery such as plasma cutter, punch turret, and possibly welding robot arm. Functions Work with CNC operator to learn processes of STCI Work with shop supervisors to ensure that projects meet deadlines Responsible of maintaining machines and tools such as punches, punch dies, consumables for plasmas, etc… Responsible for clocking into work orders to maintain appropriate times of punching, cutting, or welding. Be able to work alongside others Be willing to take on other responsibilities Competencies CNC experience (Basic/ Entry Level) Computer/ Technically driven Motivated Learning orientated Bilingual-Spanish a must Attentive to details Willing to work with machinery Willing to learn proper safety procedures Work Environment Pay $16.00 hr Shifts: 1st 4am-12:30pm & 2nd 12:30pm-9:00pm Warehouse setting, must be willing to work in Hot weather during the summer, and cold weather during winter. Forklift traffic is constant. Must wear PPE (personal protective equipment) at all times. Must follow safety rules. Physical Demands This role requires employee to stand and walk for long times. Employee can be required to pick up 50lb. Employee must be able to speak and listen. Employee must be aware of surroundings do to forklift traffic.
