We have an immediate need for a Planner who is motivated by variety and change, and who actively enjoys new and unplanned experiences. You must show a capacity to quickly assimilate and understand the implications of new developments and be ready to respond appropriately to situations as they evolve. We work in a fast paced industry, and therefore, require a fast paced attitude and commitment. As a Planner you will analyze customer blueprints, specifications, proposals, quality requirements, and other documentation to prepare Routers to manufacture parts for the aerospace and military, as well as other industries. Duties: Analyze quotation provided to customer, drawings, parts lists, and other data to determine manufacturing requirements. Consult manufacturing as needed. Verify that as a Planner, you have the correct and required engineering to manufacture parts. Responsible for producing timely, accurate and complete Routers. Make recommendations to improve the manufacturing process. Cross train in other duties as requested by area lead and/or management. Requirements: Must be a self-starter & self-motivated. Minimum High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years’ recent precision stamped/machined parts planning experience in a high-volume job shop environment. Previous experience in Metal Stamping, Waterjet cutting, Conventional Machining, Milling, and Lathe will be helpful. Knowledge of manufacturing and machine processes is a plus. Good computer skills and knowledge of computer software (Windows, Word, Excel, etc.); previous planning software Experience is preferred. Typing minimum of 25 wpm. Tests will be given on: Typing accuracy and speed, drawing interpretation, Word, Excel, Outlook.
