Job Description
As the Events Operations Assistant, you will interact with customers and will need to be comfortable speaking in front of large crowds. An Events Operations Assistant must keep a level head at all times and consider no job as too big or too small. The Events Operations Assistant must provide a clean, safe, and fun experience. Driving the "Total Customer Satisfaction" and "Proven Process" initiatives with enthusiasm are critical for this position. You will also be expected to deliver a remarkable brand experience for our guests, reinforce guest-to-Center relations, enhance our Company's image, aid business growth, and deliver events that meet Company's objectives and exceed guest expectations.
COMPENSATION: $14-17/hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take inbound sales calls, schedule, and build booked events, and oversee successful execution of all events
- Responsible for daily email, phone, and in-person communications with customers interested in booking events
- Aid in making outbound calls (including cold calls) and community outreach
- Work cohesively with the Center's management team to achieve desired sales and events outcomes
- Delegate tasks to party hosts, as needed, to ensure proper preparation, set up and a smooth-running event
- Manage the host team
- Work with management team on scheduled events to ensure smooth flow of event within the Center
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Confident demeanor and comfortable speaking in front of small and/or large crowds
- Work well under pressure
- Able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, outgoing, "can-do" attitude with no job considered too big or too small
- Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail
- Able to see tasks through to completion in a timely manner
- Strong collaborative team player with proven leadership skills and experience leading and managing small teams
- Strong computer skills and able to learn new computer programs and applications quickly
- Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and/or holidays, as needed.
- 1-2 years sales and/or events experience preferred
- Microsoft Office 365 experience required
- High School diploma or equivalent required
