As the ESCROW CLOSER you possess a deep understanding of the overall escrow process, and have high communication skills and customer service to help lenders and borrowers through the closing process.  You will be ultimately responsible for closing files on time, with accuracy, and efficiency all while maintaining customer and consumer relations. In this role you will be the most visible person to the consumer and lender throughout the entire settlement transaction. 

THIS ROLE WILL BE BASED IN OUR FARMERS BRANCH, TX OFFICE.

WHAT YOU WILL DO FOR TC&E:

·        Have daily communication with lender, consumer, and internal team to insure all milestones are being met and the projected closing is not experiencing any delays

·        Work directly with lender to produce the closing document package in its entirety

·        Perform final review of all title documents to ensure the successful recordation on ability to insure the transaction

·        Perform final review of all title and settlement related fees

·        Balance file with lender to ensure a $0.00 difference in the financials of the transaction

·        Communicate with lender and consumer to coordinate the execution of the loan document package

·        Provide closing assistance to the closing agent and answer any questions or concerns from the consumer

·        Ensure all invoices related to the production and execution of the settlement are posted in the file in preparation for disbursement

·        Assist escrow funder in the funding of the transactions should any questions or issues arise

·        Assist recording agent in the recording of the recorded documents should and questions or issues arise

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO TC&E:

·        High School Diploma/GED required, some college preferred

·        Minimum of 1 year direct experience in escrow closing

·        High level of customer service skills

·        Experience working with multiple files, a high volume of daily activity

·        Minimum of 1 year of experience with state specific guidelines and requirements for escrow law and functions

·        Experience with underwriter requirements and insurance policies as they relate to escrow and settlement

·        Experience with state and county tax requirements

·        Solid understanding of state and county recording costs and requirements

·        Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications

·        Excellent verbal and communication skills
