    Job Description

    The VENDOR OVERSIGHT ANALYST will be responsible for monitoring vendor compliance and performance of third party service providers.  This includes but is not limited to managing Performance Scorecards; Vendor Periodic Audits; drafting remediation reports; validating corrective action while meeting service level expectations at the individual, and company level.  The Vendor Oversight Analyst will ensure vendor reviews are performed, either onsite or via a desktop review, and that reports adhere to company procedures, policies and directives regarding oversight of vendors that provide services to Fay companies.  The Vendor Oversight Manager will oversee and coordinate these vendor management efforts, and may include developing scorecards, analyzing reporting results, as well as following up on remediation reports.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO FOR FAY:

    • Perform onsite and desktop periodic reviews utilizing structured Information Gathering tools
    • Identify and assess levels of risk 
    • Write, edit and manage remediation reports for the periodic reviews ensuring the mitigation of risk from a third party service provider perspective
    • Create, edit, and manage vendor scorecards as they pertain to compliance, loss mitigation, collections, customer service, escrow, bankruptcy, payment processing, boarding and foreclosure
    • Create and oversee strategy for Annual Review Audits and serve as the liaison to ensure procedures, policies and training is identified and implemented per compliance and company initiatives within all servicing Third Party Vendors
    • Create proposals and recommendations for the development and enhancement of the review process, including researching and recommending the implementation of best practices
    • Collaborate with various business and vendor owners within the organization
    • Attend and present in interdepartmental meetings as it pertains to annual vendor reviews 
    • Assess, prioritize and respond to all specialized Review team requests
    • Prepare presentations on audit findings to C level groups
    • Maintain subject matter expertise in mortgage servicing

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO FAY:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred; High school diploma/GED required
    • 3+ years’ experience in vendor auditing, service quality evaluation and/or improvement experience required; previous Audit experience preferred
    • 2+ years mortgage servicing or banking experience
    • Working knowledge of mortgage servicing, specifically default mortgage servicing, collections, customer service, loss mitigation, escrow, payment processing, and loan boarding 
    • Ability to create effective reporting and communicate results to multiple audiences with actionable recommendations
    • Able to manage multiple vendors across various service products to ensure they are complying with Regulatory Guidelines, Local and State Laws, and the terms of the executed contract
    • The ability to Travel as required. Travel could be required up to 50% of the time
