Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential clients
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders
• Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives
• Create and implement processes and policies to support overall business
• Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
• Conduct ongoing market research
• Drive the end-to-end sales process
• Prepare and submit sales contracts

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in BA or related areas
• 2 years of experience with business development
• Strong communication and writing skills in English environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Sales ability is highly desired since you will need to identify the value proposition for prospective partners. Examples of previous sales success and value proposition identification with creative solutions are desired.
• Market understanding of enterprise software is preferred and specific areas of knowledge or technical experience in AI/Big Data/Analytics/SaaS experience is a plus
• You must have a passion for building relationships that are mutually beneficial. Previous business development experience creating partnerships is a plus
• Define partnerships strategies and execute on go-to-market and adoption plans
• You have strong relationship-building skills, creativity, organizational skills, exceptional communication capabilities, strong multi-tasking ability, and a do-whatever-it-takes attitude
• Internal cross-functional experience building relationships with marketing, product management, engineering, sales, and legal functions
• Understand and communicate market opportunities, needs and partner feedback to cross-functional team to inform product roadmap and prioritization
• Be metric minded – use data to articulate opportunities internally, externally, and to report on success
• Contract negotiation experience is a plus

Location

Our HQ is in Sunnyvale California. Preference is for someone local who can be at our office regularly. Hybrid is ok.
