    Job Summary

    We are looking for a Kitchen Manager who is a Leader for the BOH and is responsible for all aspects of the kitchen from consistent food preparation and quality control to inventory, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness. The person in this role must motivate the staff to perform with high standards and urgency to contribute to the perfect guest experience with consistent food. He/she must be able to excel in all areas of the kitchen and be able to communicate with the FOH as well as the BOH.

    Responsibilities

    Cooking dexterity in all stations of the kitchen to uphold high standards and consistent execution.

    Follows recipes and line builds and holds others to do the same.

    Food costs and inventory.

    Oversees all BOH recruiting, hiring and training.

    Oversees all orders done through the kitchen and knows to communicate any issues to vendors, management team, and headquarters.

    Ensures all personnel are food safety certified and always practice sanitation standards.

    Clear and concise communication with BOH, FOH, management team, and other leaders of the company.

    Able to adjust pars due to business needs.

    Prepare and adjust BOH schedules.

    Ensure smooth running service.

    Being proactive when seeing an issue and use company policy to rectify any issues.

    Able to create routines for theirs AKM’s and staff.

    Create an efficient work environment.

    Proactive and cross train.

    Follow and train handbook systems, core values and core focus that are put in place to achieve standards.

    Qualifications

    Minimum 5 years as a Kitchen Manager

    Experience with large scale food preparation

    Experience with leading workforce 20+

    Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred but not mandatory

    Knows how to impact food cost, inventory, and correct percentages

    Sense of urgency while working clean

    Inspires a positive workplace atmosphere

    Food Safety Certification

    Organized and disciplined

    Delegates just as well as listening and following directions
