The individual will be a part of a team performing business development for the MAXIMUS Federal business development/sales organization. The individual will support business development professionals performing operations research and analysis. Support tasks will include market analysis, identification of technology trends, development of competitive assessments, and detailed research into customer mission and strategy. The individual will support proposal operations for assigned opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with Salesforce administration; including opportunity management; facilitation of new and existing reporting and dashboard development.
Work with sales leads on the identification of new opportunities and lead generation.
Assist with the set-up and coordination of business development meetings.
Current pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Strong understanding of IT services, conducting market research, writing skills, and attention to detail
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products – specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline oriented work environment
Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
Ability to use spreadsheet, database, and/or reporting software to do analysis
Ability to exercise sound judgment within broadly defined practices and policies
Regularly interact with all levels of management, infrastructure points of contact, staff, and customers; and display a high degree of tact and diplomacy
