Location: Arlington, VA (Pentagon) & Quantico, VA (MCB Quantico) Contract Duration: September 15, 2025 – April 1, 2026 Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099) Compensation: Competitive; commensurate with experience + covered travel expenses
About the Opportunity SOS Personnel, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Leadership Trainer to deliver a series of high-impact, in-person professional development seminars for civilian employees of the United States Marine Corps. The ideal candidate is passionate about leadership development and has a proven track record of delivering results-driven training in federal or military settings.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver 12 full-day or multi-day onsite leadership seminars (see course list below)
Facilitate interactive, engaging group sessions (no 1-on-1 coaching or consulting)
Provide printed training materials for each participant (up to 20 attendees per session)
Coordinate with our team to ensure timely material submission and base access clearance
Adapt delivery methods to meet adult learning principles and diverse learner needs

Strategic Leadership for Federal Employees
Building & Managing High Performance Teams
Managing People, Processes & Policies
Leadership and Accountability (Five Behaviors Framework)
Leadership Toolkit
Strategic Thinking & Problem-Solving for Team Leads and Managers
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience delivering leadership training to federal, military, or corporate audiences
Deep understanding of adult learning methods and instructional techniques
Strong facilitation and communication skills
Familiarity with military/federal workplace culture
Ability to design and deliver compelling content that aligns with contract objectives
Must be a U.S. Citizen able to pass Pentagon and Quantico base access screenings
Must be available for all scheduled training dates (between September 2025 – April 2026)
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working with the Department of Defense, GSA, or federal agencies
Certification in DISC, MBTI, Five Behaviors, or similar frameworks
Master’s degree or higher in Leadership, Organizational Development, or related field
