    Location: Norfolk, VA | Full-Time | Onsite | Federal Construction Project

    Overview:
    Butterfly Staffing is supporting a federal construction contractor in identifying a reliable QC Administrative Assistant/Submittal Clerk to join an upcoming project in Norfolk, VA. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting the Quality Control Manager by handling project documentation, submittals, and reporting.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist the QC Manager in organizing, processing, and maintaining submittal files

    • Prepare and publish reports, spreadsheets, and meeting minutes

    • Maintain well-organized documentation for quality assurance tracking

    • Ensure timely filing of submittals and project documents per contract requirements

    • Support general administrative tasks that do not interfere with core duties

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 1 year of experience in construction admin or document control

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)

    • Familiarity with construction submittals and QC documentation preferred

    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field office environment

    Certifications (Preferred, Not Required)

    • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30

    • DBIDS credential or ability to obtain base access
