Feed the Arts is looking for a junior to intermediate Lamp Stack software developer to join the team!

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of solid web development experience using a LAMP stack model. The ideal candidate should feel very comfortable working in a Linux environment and collaborating through Git. Some experience or knowledge of Agile methodologies or Scrum teams. More importantly, they should have a very solid foundation in computer science; that is they should understand how to approach and solve problems they have never solved before.

Preferred Requirements: Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.

Strong working knowledge of PHP, Python, Ruby or another server side programming language.

Experience with relational database design principles.

Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Experience in full stack implementations (e.g. LAMP, MEAN, etc.)

Comfortable with MVC Frameworks.

Experience with Git or similar version control system.

Comfortable with the command line.

Strong browser testing and debugging skills.

Familiarity with Agile software development processes including Scrum.

Solid understanding of the web development process, including design, development, and deployment.

Passion for learning new technologies.

Team player.

Self-starter - ability to work with minimal supervision or training.
