TITLE: Social Media Intern
REPORTS TO: Marketing & Communications Coordinator
STATUS: Part time (10-15 hours per week)
COMPENSATION: College credit (unpaid)
DURATION: To be determined based on school term
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Marketing & Communications Coordinator, the Social Media Intern is a key member of the marketing and communications department at Feeding San Diego, assisting in a range of marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness. This role is responsible for brainstorming and creating content for social media channels, assisting with photo and video content shoots, and performing social media marketing research, among other responsibilities

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
MUST BE A CURRENT COLLEGE STUDENT WITH ACCESS TO COLLEGE CREDIT as internship compensation, working towards a degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field. Minimum of one year of directly related experience with social media management or digital marketing. Experience working or volunteering with a mission-based company or nonprofit a plus.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
Must have your own personal laptop and smartphone to complete the internship; phone to create social content will be provided.
