    JOB SUMMARY:

    The recruiter position at Feldco will begin by being responsible for the recruiting and staffing activities for our call center, inside sales, warehouse positions initially (training would be provided). This is intended to help develop their recruiting skills while giving them an understanding of how Feldco operates. As the individual in this role grows their experience, the scope of their role in recruiting will increase to include sales, operations and management position recruiting as well as being involved in strategic planning for future recruiting initiatives. This position will be trained on how to track certain hiring metrics on a weekly, quarterly and yearly basis to improve our hiring efficiency going forward. Though prior experience with analytics is not necessary, an open mind towards analytics reporting and analysis is needed.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Respond to applicants via email when necessary to route them through our applicant tracking system
    • Post job descriptions to the internet via the platforms we use (Craigslist, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, Handshake, Glassdoor, etc) we use to keep them up to date in order to attract top talent
    • Source candidates through a variety of avenues including, but not limited to: job boards, social media, networking and job fairs.
    • Review applicant resumes and evaluate candidates through phone screen for assigned openings & departments
    • Schedule and conduct interviews, provide informed recommendations based on result of interviews and other criteria
    • Coordinate screening process (background checks/drug screens/reference checks/new hire orientation, etc) for candidates.
    • Accurately manage and maintain openings and candidate flow for assigned positions in our applicant tracking system (Paycor Recruiting).
    • Prepare new hire paperwork and conduct employee orientation during their first day of employment.
    • Make small group presentations to Onboarding & Orientation groups starting their new careers with Feldco
    • Engage and drive efforts to utilize social media as a more effective recruiting source (twitter, Facebook, etc.)
    • Assist in enforcement, development and implementation of recruiting, hiring & on boarding policies and procedures.
    • Conducting analysis to see which recruiting sources are most efficient in terms of length of employment, performance, cost efficiency, applicants to hire, etc.
    • Review current recruiting, hiring & on boarding policies & procedures and recommend process improvements based on hiring metrics collected
    • Provide a creative approach to solve problems in the organization.
    • Providing weekly, quarterly and yearly hiring analytics reports in order to identify where we can improve our overall recruiting strategies
    • Including Employee handbook, Payroll system walk through, other presentations as assigned
    • Other special projects as assigned by the Recruiting Manager, HR Director

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor Degree in HR or related field.
    • High proficiency using MS Office including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
    • Candidates MUST have an outgoing personality and be comfortable interacting with people regularly via email, phone and in-person depending on circumstance
      • Please be advised that this role will require a significant amount of correspondence with Feldco employees and candidates for Feldco openings.
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are a must
    • Any prior recruiting experience is preferred, though not required.
    • Any customer service or support experience is preferred
    • Any prior inside sales experience is also preferred
    • Strong attention to detail with little tolerance for oversight or errors regarding metrics and analytics reporting
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
