Job Summary

The Fence Builder is responsible for the installation of residential and commercial fencing across all company product offerings. This role requires proficiency with power tools, a willingness to learn all aspects of fence installation, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of construction experience, with experience operating skid steers or forklifts considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Fence Installation

• Install a variety of fencing types, including wood, vinyl, chain link, aluminum, and composite.
• Measure, cut, and assemble fence components according to project specifications.
• Dig post holes and secure fence posts with concrete or other materials as required.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently.

Site Preparation & Maintenance

• Assist in preparing job sites, including clearing debris and marking fence lines.
• Ensure work areas are clean and organized before, during, and after installation.
• Load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Use proper protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Operate heavy machinery (such as skid steers or forklifts) safely, if trained and authorized.

Teamwork & Communication

• Work closely with the Crew Lead and other team members to complete projects on time and to company standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and report any job site issues or equipment malfunctions.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers on-site.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of construction or fencing installation experience.
• Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
• Ability to measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately.
• Experience operating skid steers or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
