    FERNWAY SUMMARY:

    Fernway is a cannabis vape brand with its production & fulfillment facility located in Northampton, Massachusetts. The company is a dynamic, rapidly-growing cannabis start-up. The job is a full-time on-site job.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Procurement & Supply Chain Analyst primary responsibilities will involve working with senior management to determine the amount and timing of procurement purchases. This will require maintenance and creation of demand planning models, as well as coordination with various teams internally. The Analyst will be interfacing with large & valued vendors of the business, so the Analyst will need to operate with the highest degree of professionalism.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Procure cannabis oil from licensed cannabis product manufacturers and procure cannabis biomass from licensed cannabis cultivators across the state of Massachusetts
    • Manage relationships with vendors
    • Negotiate favorable pricing and terms on supply purchases
    • Visit vendors to discern quality of vendor operations
    • Report directly to the CEO & CFO
    • Coordinate with finance team and lab manager daily to determine sourcing needs
    • Suggesting changes to alert & PAR levels when necessary to ensure we maintain enough raw materials to support revenue growth and to ensure no stock out days

    QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

    • Excitement at the prospect of supporting the growth of one of the fastest growing companies in the cannabis industry

    • A high degree of integrity and ethical conduct always

    • 1-3 years of procurement or supply chain experience required

    • Strong communication skills required

    • Strong analytical skillset required

    • Strong Excel skills preferred
