DESCRIPTION: Front Office Coordinator wanted for a fast-paced, extremely busy, four-physician infertility and surgical medical office located in Thousand Oaks. Seeking a friendly, pleasant, caring individual, who is a fast-learner, and has shown longevity at previous employers. Position requires someone who is able to multi-task, work quickly, problem-solve, have good judgment with day-to-day job functions, has excellent organization skills, and able to handle a high-demand environment. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: accurate message taking, filing, preparing charge slips for patient visits, pulling and filing charts, requesting authorizations, answering phones, scheduling appointments, assisting medical staff and management as directed, faxing and copying. Must be able to work in a team environment, have good written and verbal communication skills. May be required to work occasional weekends and holidays.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or higher

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a medical setting preferred
• Medical Records experience preferred
• Computer literate and keyboard skilled, type 55 wpm
• Excellent and personable phone skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Neat and professional appearance
