Wolverine Lawn Services is hiring a full-time Fertilization Technician to provide professional turf applications to residential and commercial properties. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality lawn treatments while maintaining strong customer communication and upholding Wolverine Culture and Values. Responsibilities: Lawn & Turf Care • Apply granular and liquid fertilizers according to company standards and product labels • Perform weed control, insect control, and disease control applications • Diagnose turf issues, including pests, disease, and nutrient deficiencies • Recommend additional services or treatment plans to improve turf health • Support snow season activities as assigned Customer Service • Communicate professionally with customers regarding treatments performed • Provide guidance on watering, mowing, and lawn care best practices • Address customer questions and escalate concerns when necessary • Maintain a clean, uniform, and professional appearance • Align actions and behavior with Wolverine Culture and Values Equipment & Safety • Operate spreaders, sprayers, and turf care equipment • Calibrate equipment to ensure accurate application • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and chemical handling regulations • Maintain clean, organized vehicles and equipment Administrative • Record treatment data, materials used, payroll time punches, and property notes • Review route schedules and complete work orders accurately • Report property conditions or service issues to the supervisor Qualifications: • Previous lawn‑care or landscaping experience • State pesticide applicator license: Core, 3A, 3B, 6 (or willingness to obtain) • Knowledge of turfgrass species, weeds, insects, and diseases • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a chauffeur's license Compensation: $22 - $26 hourly
