Feyen Zylstra is looking for a BIM DETAILER for our GRAND RAPIDS location. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) manager. This role is responsible for creating detailed, accurate, and easy to use layout drawings and 3D models of our electrical systems consistent with company standards, commitments and project goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•3D modeling, dimensioning and detailing of electrical systems
•Support Prefabrication Process
•Creating fabrication work orders based on Bluebeam and BIM layout for all systems required
•Creating detailed shop drawings of electrical room / panel assemblies
•Updating Bluebeam Studio projects with accurate drawings, models, and information
•BIM 360 Field
•Internal coordination with project team and external with field Foreman/Superintendents
•Collaborate with VDC team on new prefab, Revit, and BIM methods as needed
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
•A High School Diploma or GED required
•Degree in Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) preferred
•Electrical Construction experience preferred
•Experience in Autodesk – Revit, Autocad, Navisworks
•Experience in BIM 360 Glue
•Understanding of blueprint reading
•Understanding of electrical systems and installations
