We are seeking a skilled Fiber Splicer to join our team and play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and performance of fiber optic networks. This position involves the precise joining of fiber optic cables to ensure high-speed data transmission and reliable connectivity.

** What You’ll Do:**

• Perform splicing and termination of fiber optic cables (underground, aerial, and building installations).
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting to quickly identify and resolve network issues.
• Maintain accurate records of splicing activities, including diagrams and reports.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols and industry standards during all installations.

** What We’re Looking For:**

• Knowledge of network design and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Strong technical aptitude with fiber optic cables and splicing equipment.
• Attention to detail to ensure error-free splicing and reliable connectivity.
• Problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix faults efficiently.
• Good communication skills to work with team members and clients.
• Preferred: Familiarity with advanced testing equipment for thorough diagnostics.

** Education & Experience:**

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a fiber optic splicing training program or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance.
• Certification from a recognized fiber optic association (preferred).
