The Collections Specialist is responsible for the timely and complete collection of revenue from all sources - private pay, Medicaid waiver, insurance, and other government programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or similar field, preferred;
• 3-5 years of experience in a business or accounting role, preferably in a home care environment with 2 years’ experience in collections or similar function;
• Ability to interact successfully with clients, governmental agencies and staff either in person or by phone or correspondence;
• Knowledge of GA waiver programs, VA and electronic billing preferred;
• Excellent computer skills to include Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and familiarity with accounting software packages.
