HIRING MORTGAGE LOAN OFFICER

JOB LOCATION: New Seattle Washington branch office

DESIRED START DATE: January or February

WORKING HOURS: Monday-Friday 11AM-7PM, Occasional Saturday in exchange for weekday.

The principal broker and employees of the company have been collectively serving the communities of the Pacific Northwest for mortgage loans for more than 55 years.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will work out of a newly licensed branch location in Seattle Washington, located inside a Keller Williams Office. Working very closely with two Keller Williams agents (1 of whom has previously been a loan officer with lots of experience) you will be serving primarily but not exclusively the Hispanic residential real estate market from Kent north to Everett. You will be working with clients at the office, over the phone, and driving to clients locations. You be working closely with owner of company/principal mortgage broker, loan processors all located in Washington/Oregon. You will be the only person working for the mortgage broker in Seattle Washington branch office.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

· Taking in person and over the phone loan applications in Spanish and English

· Processing new incoming loan application

· Document collection from clients in office and at their home

o Assisting clients in collecting documents, such as helping them get online to obtain bank statements, debt statements, tax transcripts, mortgage payment history, mortgage statements.

· Assisting clients in person and over the phone in completing electronic signature applications and disclosures through various platforms.

· Consult/advise/update clients of various loan products/scenarios/expectations as applicable

· Assist loan processor when needed by providing required items or following up on items outstanding

· Contacting 3rd party vendors & lenders to consult about items needed for loans and or scenarios

· You must be very comfortable helping people step by step and holding their hand as many of our clients struggle with documentation gathering and computer electronic signatures and obtaining documents online.

TRAINING:

You will be trained in person at the Seattle Washington branch office for several days by the owner of company/principal mortgage broker, after that your training/mentoring will continue virtually and by phone.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

· Highschool or higher education certificate

· Bilingual English 100%/Spanish 100% Written and Verbal

· Minimum 1 year mortgage industry experience

· Basic knowledge of Mortgage Loan Origination Software such as Calyx Point, Encompass, Byte /BytePro or other similar comprehensive platforms.

· Basic Computer, website navigation, DocusSign/other similar Esign Platforms, Microsoft Office products proficient

o You will be asked to take online computer/internet navigation, Microsoft Office skills test to demonstrate your proficiency.

· Typing on keyboard proficient (this means no looking or hunting with one finger)

o You will be asked to take online typing test to demonstrate your proficiency.

· You must be extremely effective by phone and writing skills

· Professional image/presentation in person/face to face

· You will be required to take an online personality profile/ethics screening

· Basic office equipment use experience with scanner, printer, fax

· You must have a car, and provide proof of insurance

· If you do not currently have a loan originator license for the state of Washington and Colorado you will be required to obtain one, all expenses will be paid, this is a condition of employment without it you cannot perform the job legally.

INTERVIEW PROCESS:

1st online-interview with principal mortgage broker/owner

2nd online-interview with the two Keller Williams Agents you will be working very closely with

3rd in person- panel interview it the parties listed above and possible the principal broker of Keller Williams

Office located in Seattle Washington, living no further south then Kent, and no further north than Everett Washington.

Preferences to applicants who have current or past mortgage loan originator license, or currently or in the past worked as mortgage loan processor.

COMPENSATION:

· Full Time Annual Compensation $32,250

· + Commission (0.3375% of each loan)

Minimum Annual Commission Goal $24,300

Target Annual Commission Goal $129,600

Minimum Annual Income Goal Salary and Commission $56,550

Target Annual Income Goal Salary and Commission $162,100

BENEFITS:

· $250 monthly gas expense for traveling to clients

· Paid sick time: 1 hour for every 40 hours worked

o Year 1 $250 monthly non-taxed

o Every year after $350 monthly non-taxed

· Vacation Pay

o Year 1 receive 5 days

o Receive 1 additional day each year, cap is 10 per year.

o Unused days roll over to next year, but do not roll past 24 months, you can cash them out at anytime or at 24 months they will be automatically cash out to you.
