Field Coordinator - Construction - Base Salary to 80k/year - Worcester, MA
Our client, an established specialty building products manufacturer, is seeking a Field Coordinator to support commercial construction projects throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. This field-based role is responsible for coordinating job site activities, assessing site readiness, performing field measurements and inspections, managing material receipt, coordinating installation schedules, and supporting project execution. Relevant construction backgrounds may include carpentry, drywall, siding, glazing, building envelope, HVAC, architectural metals, or related commercial building trades.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and monitor active commercial construction job sites for project progress, site readiness, installation requirements, and quality control
Perform field measurements, site measurements, and technical data collection using appropriate measuring devices
Read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, plans, specifications, and work orders to support field execution
Coordinate subcontractors, trades, sub-tier work, installation schedules, and job site activities
Attend job site meetings and coordinate project requirements with customers, contractors, subcontractors, tradespeople, and internal project teams
Manage material receipt and material coordination at job sites, including identifying equipment requirements and inspecting materials for quality and completeness
Support installation activities and verify work is completed according to project documentation and requirements
Travel throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island to active job sites, including overnight stays as needed
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of construction experience
Experience within commercial construction, including backgrounds such as carpentry, drywall, siding, glazing, building envelope, HVAC, metals, or related building trades
Experience reading and interpreting construction documents, blueprints, plans, specifications, and work orders
Experience using measuring devices and performing basic construction-related math
Experience using project management systems or construction project management software
Experience coordinating with customers, contractors, subcontractors, tradespeople, and internal project teams
Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally, regularly work at heights exceeding 20 feet, and perform full range of motion activities required on active construction job sites
Ability to travel to job sites throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, including overnight stays as needed
