    Purpose

    The Field-Delivery Support Representative is responsible for transporting equipment and parts between dealership locations and to customer sites. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely, professional, and safe delivery of goods. Some deliveries may require overnight stays, extended hours, or weekend work. Adherence to DOT regulations and company safety procedures is critical. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and customers.

    Primary Responsibilities (listed by significance)

    • Company Values : Embodies and promotes company values through actions and participation in recognition programs. Leads by example.
    • Equipment Transport : Loads trailers, delivers equipment to designated destinations, and unloads equipment per manager’s scheduling.
    • Bulk Oil Delivery : Delivers lubricants to customer sites and/or other KanEquip locations.
    • Customer Interaction : Contacts customers prior to delivery to confirm directions, unloading requirements, and other logistical details. Greets customers professionally, ensures satisfaction with delivered items, and provides attachments/manuals as needed. Reports customer concerns to the supervisor promptly.
    • Safety & Legal Requirements: Complies with all DOT and OSHA regulations as well as company safety policies.
    • Vehicle Maintenance/Condition : Ensures assigned vehicle is well-maintained and safe. Conducts routine and scheduled maintenance as needed. Reports issues to the supervisor.
    • Dealer Image : Maintains a professional demeanor and appearance in all interactions with customers and coworkers.
    • Communication : Maintains clear and timely communication with supervisors, dispatchers, and dealership staff to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

    Requirements

    · High school diploma or GED required

    · Valid CDL Class A with Tanker Endorsement

    · Clean driving record with no preventable accidents in the last three years

    · Ability to drive in all weather conditions (e.g., rain, snow, ice)

    · Ability to safely operate vehicles and trailers

    · Familiarity with agricultural or construction equipment is preferred to assist with basic customer inquiries

    · Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    · Proficiency with smartphones, GPS, and internet-based applications (e.g., email, mapping software)

    · Ability to work extended hours and some weekends as needed

    · Ability to lift moderately heavy items
