  • Responsibilities

    OSM Construction is seeking a field engineer to join their team on a landmark multi-building hospitality project along the Yellowstone River. This role offers the opportunity to support large-scale construction while learning directly from experienced superintendents and project leaders. The ideal candidate is early in their construction career, tech-savvy, and eager to grow into site supervision or project management roles. You will work hands-on in a fast-paced environment, contributing to both this major resort build and future high-end custom residential projects across Montana. While OSM’s main office is in Bozeman, MT, this is an on-site position in Paradise Valley with strong long-term growth potential within the company.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities

    • Facilitate daily site operations as a buffer for the superintendent

    • Implement and manage Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for documentation and drawings

    • Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and supplier deliveries

    • Maintain daily logs and prepare three-week look-ahead schedules

    • Conduct inspections, track project progress, and ensure design compliance

    • Support estimating, takeoffs, and drawing reviews

    • Uphold and enforce job site safety protocols

    Hard Skills

    • Bachelor’s in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)

    • 1-5 years of construction experience (commercial or residential)

    • Basic to intermediate plan reading skills (coachable on the job)

    • Familiarity with ACC or Procore software for construction management

    • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
