  • Responsibilities

    General Summary

    This position may require deployment overseas for a period not to exceed 90 days. Work will involve climbing on military equipment, and will require being able to lift, carry, or move items up to approximately forty pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

    Principal Duties And Responsibilities

    • Provide technical assistance in support of operating commercial or military systems, including SATCOM systems.
    • Provide system services in the areas of maintenance, testing, operations, logistics, integration, and installation as directed.
    • Provide system and network administration to training and operational systems as required.
    • Provide on-site Subject Matter Expertise (SME) as a Field Service Representative (FSR) on military two-satellite geolocation systems and SATCOM equipment.
    • Provide technical assistance to daily operations, system upgrades, and preventive maintenance of these military systems.
    • Coordinate with more senior SME/Field Engineers as required to resolve operational and technical deficiencies within the systems.

    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Two years of related experience required.

    • Must have an active TS/SCI.

    • May require CONUS and/or OCONUS travel to customer sites.

    • Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Qualifications
    • Ability to analyze statically determinate and indeterminate structures and bridges.
    • Knowledge of structural design principles for steel, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete for both superstructure and substructure components.
    • Familiarity with practices and procedures for structural detailing.
    • Experience with construction cost estimating.
    • Ability to work on multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced team oriented environment.
    • Assist in the preparation of plan and specification documents for advertisement and construction.
    • Coordinate with design team to ensure project completion within defined schedule, budget, and quality.
    • Experience in using structural analysis and design software, MicroStation drafting software.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including WORD and EXCEL.
    • Ability to write, speak, and communicate clearly.
