Mission
Manage multiple Los Angeles projects to successful completion by ensuring that engineering, production, and installation teams are aligned, on schedule, and producing quality work. The primary focus of this position is managing projects from engineering through manufacturing and final installation.
Job Duties
Engineering and Field Team Management
Maintain a regular presence on jobsites to coordinate teams, answer questions, and communicate with customers.
Ensure that the installation team maintains the desired level of quality and productivity.
Ensure foremen submit all required safety and productivity data on a weekly basis.
Allocate manpower resources as needed.Serve as the customer interface regarding questions and Requests for Information (RFIs), providing guidance and clarification as needed to maintain workflow.
Attend site meetings with General Contractors and design teams.
Resolve jobsite issues in coordination with foremen.
Attend project kick-off meetings to receive project handoff information.
Analyze project details and understand specific assignments.
Establish communication with customers outlining schedules, expectations, and sequencing of work.
Coordinate project scheduling with the Operations Manager across all company divisions.
Track the design and engineering phases to ensure adherence to project schedules.
Review shop drawings prior to submittal with the engineering team, confirming scope, design intent, installation methodology, and overall accuracy.
Track production schedules and timelines.
Issue weekly work plans and manage schedules, productivity, and quality standards.
Develop and pursue change orders as needed.
Verify field dimensions and site measurements.
Maintain weekly communication with all stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
Ability to manage complex installations from engineering and production through field installation.
General construction, technical, and safety knowledge.
Strong communication skills.
Understanding of manpower planning, personnel management, and skill awareness.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Compensation
$120,000–$180,000 annually to start (depending on experience and expertise)
