    Title: Field Installation Manager

    Shift: Project-Based, Extensive Travel Required (Up to 90%)

    Salary: $25-$30/hr + OT and Travel Pay

    Field Installation Manager Role:

    This role is central to ensuring the successful on-site implementation of our client's equipment. The Field Installation Manager will lead, plan, and execute all aspects of the installation process, bridging the gap between technical execution, client satisfaction, and project management.

    Field Installation Manager Responsibilities:

    • Plan and schedule all phases of industrial equipment installation projects
    • Oversee and manage the on-site installation of major industrial systems
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during installation phases
    • Manage, direct, and coordinate the activities of contractors and subcontractors
    • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
    • Apply knowledge of industrial electrical systems to installation processes
    • Utilize understanding of industrial plumbing requirements for system integration
    • Leverage expertise in industrial construction and structural requirements
    • Ensure all welding and fabrication work meets specifications
    • Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges promptly
    • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all safety regulations

    Field Installation Manager Reporting Relationships:

    This position reports to the Commissioning & Test Manager and will manage various on-site contractors and potentially oversee junior installation personnel.

    About You:

    • Possess significant experience installing major industrial equipment systems
    • Demonstrate strong project management skills, including planning and scheduling
    • Have proven experience managing contractors and overseeing industrial sites
    • Exhibit excellent client-facing and communication skills
    • Understand industrial electrical, plumbing, and construction principles
    • Have a working knowledge of welding and fabrication processes
    • Possess experience as a Millwright or in Industrial Construction (highly valued)
    • Show a strong understanding of the steel industry environment
    • Be willing and able to travel up to 90% (70-80% domestic, 20-30% international)
    • Be a proactive problem-solver with strong hands-on capabilities
