    Fast-growing Charlotte-based venture-backed advanced materials manufacturer of protective coatings is looking for outgoing and hardworking people to add to its team. Previously featured on ABC’s Shark Tank, DetraPel manufactures non-toxic, PFAS-free functional barrier coatings for industrial and consumer applications in Textiles, Paper & Food Packaging, and Contract Aerosol Manufacturing. The Field Marketing Manager role is a full-time, in-person position responsible for the end-to-end strategy, coordination, and execution of DetraPel’s events, account-based marketing initiatives, and trade-show programs, including conference selection, on-site logistics, customer activations, and on-site ABM campaigns. You’ll partner with leadership, sales, and marketing teams to negotiate vendor contracts, design immersive brand experiences, capture and nurture leads, and drive ROI through data-driven analysis and continuous improvement. This position offers autonomy to own integrated event calendars, develop multi-channel ABM outreach, innovate on-site presence beyond the show floor, lead post-event debriefs, and refine strategies to maximize impact and growth across all DetraPel’s brands. Responsibilities: Your Day To Day: Event & Conference Strategy & Selection (20%) • Own conference schedule selection; evaluate fit, ROI, and align with leadership and sales priorities • Work with sales and leadership to define key business objectives for each event • Lead customer engagement activations and experiences beyond trade shows Trade Show Coordination & On-Site Execution (30%) • Manage logistics: booth design, vendor coordination, travel, shipments, and budgets • Negotiate contracts and costs with venues, vendors, and service providers • Maintain and evolve on-site presence: signage, product demos, and sampling • Own on-site lead capture in collaboration with sales and marketing stakeholders Account-Based Marketing & Lead Nurture (35%) • Partner with sales and leadership to define top target accounts and personas • Conduct deep ICP research: org charts, role pain points, buying triggers • Design and own multi-channel ABM outreach (LinkedIn, direct mail, email, on-site visits, lunch & learns, event invites) • Track account engagement, sync with sales on momentum, and iterate tactics Event Analysis & Continuous Improvement (15%) • Facilitate post-show analysis after events to capture lessons and best practices • Analyze quarterly event performance: ROI, pipeline contribution, and investment levels • Identify high-impact events to double down on and recommend hosted or co-hosted gatherings Qualifications: You’ll Fit Right In If: • 5+ years of event or trade-show marketing experience, with demonstrable success • Proven track record executing ABM campaigns and multi-channel outreach • Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience • Data-driven decision maker comfortable with ROI and pipeline analysis • Excellent project management and organizational skills • Collaborative communicator who works seamlessly with sales, leadership, and cross-functional teams • Adaptable and proactive. Ready to pivot and handle ad-hoc needs • Willingness to travel frequently and thrive in a fast-paced environment Compensation: $85,000 - $120,000 yearly
