    How will this role impact First Command?

    The Field Marketing Channel Specialist plays a pivotal role in aligning marketing strategy with Field execution, directly influencing the success of the Advisor channel and, by extension, the broader Enterprise. By delivering high-impact events, scalable marketing solutions, and timely sales enablement tools, this role enhances Advisor productivity, strengthens client engagement, and drives revenue growth. Managing a centralized request queue ensures marketing support is both responsive and efficient, while the development of templated, repeatable assets maximizes scalability and consistency across the organization. Ultimately, this role helps bridge Enterprise strategy with Field-level execution, ensuring that marketing efforts are not only aligned with business goals but also measurable, adaptable, and impactful at scale.

    What will the employee do in this role?

    Event Marketing & Execution

    • Plan, coordinate, and execute regional and national field events (e.g., seminars, webinars, client appreciation events).
    • Partner with Advisors to tailor event strategies that align with local market needs and business goals.
    • Assist with event logistics, vendor relationships, and post-event reporting and ROI analysis.

    Sales Enablement

    • Develop and maintain a suite of marketing and sales tools (presentations, brochures, digital assets) tailored to the Advisor channel.
    • Collaborate with internal teams like Financial Planning, Product Marketing and compliance teams to ensure materials are accurate, timely, and aligned with brand standards.
    • Train and support Advisors on how to effectively use marketing tools and platforms.

    Field Support & Communication

    • Serve as a key liaison between enterprise marketing and the Field Force, ensuring consistent communication and feedback loops.
    • Gather insights from the Field to inform Marketing strategies and content development.

    Request Queue Management & Scalable Solutions

    • Manage and prioritize a centralized request queue from Advisors for Marketing support, ensuring timely and effective responses.
    • Identify common needs and develop templated, scalable Marketing solutions to streamline support and maximize impact across the Field.
    • Continuously refine templates and processes based on Advisor feedback and performance metrics.

    Performance Tracking

    • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of Field Marketing initiatives, including event performance, tool utilization, and Advisor satisfaction.
    • Use data to optimize future campaigns and improve Field engagement.

    Skills & Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent work experience

    Work Experience

    • 3+ years of experience in Field Marketing, Event Marketing, or sales enablement—preferably in financial services or a B2B environment.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and event management platforms.
    • Ability to travel up to 30% to support Field events and Advisor engagement.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Experience working with financial advisors or within a regulated industry.
    • Creative mindset with a passion for delivering memorable event experiences.
    • Data-driven approach to marketing strategy and performance analysis.
    • Familiarity with ticketing or request management systems (e.g., Workfront, Asana, Saleforce).

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education/Experience:

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Two years in a clinical environment with data processing/specimen handling experience. Graduate of heath/ medical assistant or similar training program at an accredited institution where general laboratory technique is taught.

    Language Ability:

    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information to one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

    Math Ability:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Must have the ability to perform all duties with accuracy and attention to detail

    Computer Skills:

    Ability to use Laboratory Information System in addition to various other software programs
