Field Operations Manager – Cleaning & Restoration
Position Overview The Field Operations Manager is a key leadership role responsible for directing and coordinating all field and operational functions within a busy cleaning and restoration company. This position ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while also supporting the growth and efficiency of the business. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a track record in the restoration industry, a commitment to client satisfaction, and the ability to streamline processes for maximum productivity.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day field operations, ensuring crews are well-coordinated, properly equipped, and meeting performance expectations.
Oversee Truck-mounted cleaning and restoration equipment; develop inventories and daily maintenance protocols.
Lead scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management to deliver timely, high-quality project completion.
Implement operational strategies that align with company objectives and support both revenue growth and efficiency improvements.
Ensure adherence to all applicable industry standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and industry partners to encourage repeat and referral business.
Monitor budgets, track project costs, and produce reports that identify opportunities for cost savings and operational enhancements.
Mentor, train, and support team members to promote professional growth, teamwork, and a positive work culture.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory or management position within the cleaning and restoration sector.
IICRC certifications strongly preferred (WRT, AMRT, ASD a plus).
Mold license or eligible to apply for mold license required.
Proficient in operational planning, crew leadership, and customer service excellence.
Skilled communicator with the ability to motivate and direct multiple teams simultaneously.
Experienced in estimating software such as Xactimate, Workiz, etc.
Comfortable learning and utilizing technology platforms for scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
Willingness to work in the field when needed to support crews and ensure project success.
