    Mochi Foods is a Hawaii-born, family-founded food company on a mission to bring mochi texture into mainstream American food. We make commercial-ready mixes for mochi donuts, mochi pancakes, mochi waffles, mochi corn dogs, and more — and we're growing fast. We're in 400+ stores nationwide, including Costco, and we're just getting started.

    The Role

    We're looking for a hungry, people-first salesperson to hit the road and get Mochi Foods into donut shops, bakeries, breakfast spots, and cafes across their region.

    This isn't a desk job. You'll be walking into stores, building real relationships with owners and operators, demoing product, and closing deals. If you love food, love people, and love the hustle of finding your next win — this role is for you.

    What You'll Do

    Hit the road and call on donut shops, bakeries, breakfast chains, and cafes in your territory

    Introduce operators to Mochi Foods products and show them how mochi can elevate their menu

    Build a pipeline of leads and follow through until the deal is done

    Conduct in-person demos and tastings with potential customers

    Attend local food shows, markets, and events to generate new leads

    Report back on wins, losses, and market feedback to the team

    Be the face of Mochi Foods in your region

    What We're Looking For

    1–3 years of sales experience (foodservice, CPG, or food industry a plus — but not required if you're a natural salesperson)

    Comfortable walking into a business cold and starting a conversation

    Self-motivated — you manage your own schedule and don't need someone looking over your shoulder

    Passionate about food and genuinely excited about what mochi can do

    Strong communicator — in person, on the phone, and over email

    West Coast or East Coast based with reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly

    Nice to Have

    Background in foodservice, bakery, or specialty food sales

    Existing relationships with donut shops, cafes, or breakfast concepts

    Familiarity with mochi, boba, or Asian-inspired food categories

    Pay: $52,102.46 - $62,747.05 per year
