Role Overview

Position: Field Service Appliance Technician

Core Duties of a Field Service Appliance Technician:

Follow operating instructions

Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns

Maintain truck supplies and inventory

Work with manufacturers for technical assistance

Document service calls using paperless forms

Requirements of a Field Service Appliance Technician:

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be drug-free, obtain a clean criminal background, and Have a DUI free driving record

Have a valid driver’s license

Ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs. without accommodations

Have a professional neat appearance and strong work ethic

Produce 2 professional references

Preferred: 2–5 years mechanical experience

Training & Pay of a Field Service Appliance Technician:

Training Phase (4 months):

Pay: $18–$20/hour (based on skillset)

Post-Training:

Salary: $40,000 annually

Plus: 8% commission on repair work

Eligibility for a $500 monthly working performance bonus

Additional incentives:

tool rent-to-own program

Company-issued pickup truck, cell phone, and laptop provided

Schedule of a Field Service Appliance Technician:

Monday–Friday, starting at 8 AM until calls are complete

Rotating on-call schedule (every 12–15 weeks)
