Field Service Engineer - Blow Molding Manufacturing - Base Salary to 95k/year - Atlanta, GA

• Our client is a leader in the blow molding manufacturing space. The team is looking to add an additional Field Service Engineer who will be a subject matter expert in all things relating to stretch blow molding.
  
• The ideal candidate will be traveling across the US to client companies to assist with optimizing, process development, and troubleshooting blow molding machines.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose machines and evaluate mechanical issues
  
• Optimize high speed blow molding processes on Sidel, Krones, SIPA, and KHS machines
  
• Assist in developing CSD, Water & Hot-set/Hot-fill processes
  
• Coordinate with 3rd party contractors and firms getting technical info needed to complete process design
  
• Create & optimize recipes to optimize bottle production for clients

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in PET blow molding manufacturing; ideally in food/beverage manufacturing
  
• Understanding of blow molding process from start to finish
  
• Robust experience troubleshooting blow molding machines
  
• Background in preform design and optimization of preforms
  
• Good mechanical/electrical/controls background
  
• Background in various resins is a plus
  
• Ability to travel upwards of 80% throughout US

Compensation:

• Our client is offering a base salary up to 95k/year along with a company credit card to expense all travel (fuel, hotel, rental car, and plane tickets) & food expenses. They also offer a full benefits package.
