Field Service Engineer - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 150k/year - Philadelphia, PA

• Our client is an industry leading parts and service company solely focusing in the stretch blow molding industry. The team is based in Canada & are currently seeking their first US employee to help develop and create their technical services division.
  
• The Field Service Engineer will travel to customers to assist with optimizing blow molding machines as well as assisting with part replacements and machine installs.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose machines & evaluating for both mechanical and process related issues
  
• Optimize high speed blow molding processes on Sidel, Krones, and KHS machines
  
• Develop new preventative maintenance plans for customers
  
• Assist with line auditing, troubleshooting, equipment retrofits, machine installation, etc

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in PET blow molding manufacturing with technical background on equipment/machinery
  
• Technical understanding of blow molding process from start to finish
  
• Experience meeting timelines in fast paced production environment
  
• Hands on experience working on Sidel, Krones, and/or KHS machines
  
• Previous training/mentoring experience is a plus
  
• Ability to travel upwards of 75% of the time (typical projects last between 1-3 weeks)

Compensation:

• Base salary for this opportunity is in the 140k - 150k/year range plus per diem. The client company also covers all travel costs.
  
• The team also offers a monthly stipend/reimbursement plan for medical/dental/vision insurance as the team is Canadian based, they do not yet have a formalized insurance policy in the US.
